Shri Dev Vyadeshwar is a temple of Hindu and it is dedicated to the God Shiva. It is located in Guhagar, Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra State, India.
It is viewed as the Kuladevata (Clan God) of numerous Chitpavan families from the Konkan area.
As indicated by Hindu mythology, sage Parashurama made the place that is known for Konkan by shooting his bolt into the ocean and instructing the Sea God to withdraw the waters to where his bolt landed. This new land came to be known as Sapta-Konkana, signifying "bit of earth", "corner of earth".
