Thank you for choosing Ekaant Forest Homestays. Please review and acknowledge the following terms to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay:

Homestay Experience

  • Ekaant Forest Homestays offers a rustic, tranquil environment, not a resort experience.
  • Services are intentionally limited to maintain simplicity and serenity.
  • Forest & Rural Location

  • Located in a forested, rural area, post-sunset travel is discouraged unless by car or with a company escort. Requesting guests to keep the surroundings clean and peaceful. Do not disturb wildlife.
  • Amenities, Limitations, Compensation & House Rules

  • Water Supply: Water is supplied once daily to each cottage. Additional requests will incur extra charges. In case of any waterline disruption a 10% compensation on the lodging tariff will be applicable.
  • Hot Water: Each bathroom has electrical geysers/ boilers. Incase of equipment failure hot water buckets (1 bucket per person) will be provided in minimum 45 minutes.
  • Room Service: Not standard but available for senior citizens, differently-abled guests and at special requests at an extra cost of Rs.75 per visit.
  • Pets: Pets are welcome with prior notice and charges. Ensure they do not disturb or damage property. If any damages done, they will be charged on actual.
  • Electrical Fluctuations: Voltage variations may occur, potentially affecting electronic devices. In case of electricity outage candles will be provided and a 4% compensation on the lodging tariff will be applicable for the inconvenience caused.
  • Wi-Fi: In case of Wi-Fi downtime, a 2% compensation on the lodging tariff will be applicable for the inconvenience caused.
  • Television: In case of TV downtime, a 2% compensation on the lodging tariff will be applicable for the inconvenience caused.
  • The above-mentioned compensations will apply if the cumulative downtime for key services exceeds two hours.
  • Noise: Maintain quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. No loud music or parties without approval. The management reserves the right to not accept or give permission or put a hold on active parties if required.
  • Check-In/Out: Check-in: 2 PM, Check-out: 10 AM. Additional charges apply for early/late changes.
  • Cooking & Food: Use the kitchen (if provided) responsibly and clean up after use and dispose the waste as per Wet and Dry disposal method. Outside food is allowed, but kindly avoid strong-smelling items that may attract insects or animals.
  • Limited Liability: The management is not responsible for incidents beyond its control, including travel mishaps or damages caused by voltage fluctuations. Guests are liable for any property damages and are kindly requested to leave the house clean and orderly at check-out. A penalty of up to 10% may apply for excessive mess or damage on actual.
